About ScreenSize.net

ScreenSize.net is a set of screen utilities: a live screen size checker, calculators for PPI and aspect ratio, a true-size comparison tool, and source-backed reference charts for phone, tablet and laptop displays.

How the data is sourced

Branded device specifications are taken from manufacturer pages wherever possible. Every record stores its source URLs and confidence level. Panel PPI can be a source-backed record value; aspect ratio and physical dimensions are calculated from the stored resolution and diagonal. CSS viewports and laptop workspaces are labeled as developer references because browser, zoom and operating-system settings can change them. Generic monitor configurations are clearly labeled references rather than manufacturer products. Draft, merged and lower-confidence records stay out of public tools, while standalone indexed pages must pass an additional content-quality gate. Review dates appear only after the corresponding fact or content review occurred.

Privacy

Detection runs locally in your browser. To power aggregate comparisons, we count anonymous monthly screen environment buckets such as viewport size and device type; we do not store raw visit records, IP addresses or user IDs. Share links encode the data in the URL itself. See the privacy policy.
