Display scaling

A laptop panel resolution is not its browser viewport

A 2560 × 1664 MacBook Air 13" (M3) panel can use a 1470 × 956 logical workspace reference, but a browser tab will normally report less height and may report less width. Use the scaled value to understand density and likely workspace class; use a live viewport measurement for exact breakpoint and screenshot QA.

What changes as laptop screen sizes increase?

Diagonal size changes physical working area, while resolution and scaling determine how much logical workspace is available. A larger panel does not automatically mean smaller UI or a wider browser window.

Coverage and sources

The current public collection includes MacBook Air 13" (M3), MacBook Pro 14" (M4), and MacBook Pro 16" (M4 Pro/Max). Each detail page lists its record-specific sources and review date when one has been recorded. Coverage expands when source-backed laptop records pass the public-data gate; individual links still require the separate page-quality gate. This page does not claim to represent every laptop on the market.
