Two models, one full-screen layout result
The Air and base iPad have matching panel, density and CSS geometry in this dataset. Cards, line breaks and media queries should therefore resolve the same way at full screen.
iPad Air 11" (M2): 10.9″, 1640 × 2360, 264 PPI, 820 × 1180 CSS viewport at DPR 2. Its tracked display and full-screen CSS reference match the base iPad exactly, so the Air name adds device coverage but does not justify another responsive target.

The smaller Pro provides slightly more layout room, making that comparison more informative for pane transitions than duplicating tests across equivalent Air and base references.
The specifications below come from the device records; the notes explain why each comparison is useful.

| iPad Pro 11" (M4) The compact Pro is the adjacent wider target for testing grid growth and the introduction of secondary navigation or content panes. | iPad Air 11" (M2) | 11.1″ | 1668 × 2420 | 834 × 1210 | 264 |

/* Test immediately below and above your layout breakpoints. */Use the 820 × 1180 CSS px at DPR 2 as a real QA target, then pair it with nearby widths for regression testing.
Values marked official come from manufacturer specifications; calculated values are derived from them; reference values are developer layout references and can vary with browser, zoom and operating-system settings.
